Catch up.

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't been doing much on the blog. Things have been busy. We went to a family reunion for Robert's family. It was a lot of fun. I actually had the chance to meet his two older brothers that I hadn't meet yet. He has 4 brothers and 2 sisters and I had only meet 2 brothers and 2 sisters. His oldest brother lives in The Middle East with his wife and 2 kids. His second oldest brother lives in Oklahoma (for now) with is wife and 6 kids.

We had a lot of fun. There was 14 adults and 13 kids in two houses. My 2 favorite activities were; Saturday morning when we left all the kids with babysitters and the parents went to the temple together. It was very neat to be able to be in the same session with all of Robert's family. My other favorite activity was on Monday afternoon when the guys took all the kids and the ladies were able to have an afternoon with peace and quite. We also had chocolate and made bracelets and had pedicures.

A lot of pictures were taken, but not by me. Robert's dad and sister are both armature photographers, so they took a lot of pictures and are going to send us all copies. So when I get some pictures, I will post some for you all.

Lets see what else is going on. I have been doing really well with this pregnancy. I am starting to show, so most of the ward figured out that I was pregnant yesterday. But I guess sense I am 5 months it is about time that people learned. I think that Josh is starting to notice that something is different. I don't carry him around as much because it hurts my hips. I don't think he likes it very much. He has been throwing a lot more tantrums lately. It has been SO much fun. OK not really. He is really good at throwing tantrums. I am not sure were he learned it from. But now we get to figure out how to teach him that they don't work.
We let Josh go out and play on our little patio and this is what he looked like when he came in.
One of his new favorite things to do is to take Robert's tie and play with it. He loves to put it on, but he also loves to just pull it behind him and watch it follow him. He is so cute to watch. He does it almost every Sunday.
A couple of weeks ago my friend invited me to go with them to her in-laws to pick raspberries. It was a lot of fun.

Well I think that is about all that is going on here.

Krista how are things going with Conor and his physical therapy? Is he getting any closer to crawling or walking?

Connor is scooting around on him bum. I'm not worried about his crawling/walking anymore. I got what I needed from the physical therapist. She said I wasn't do anything wrong. She said that really there was nothing we could do except walk with him and have him reach for things. So as much as I love the idea of him walking, he'll do it when he is ready. He scoots around really fast, especially in Relief Society. I play one verse and he is halfway across the room! Oh well I guess I have it coming!!
Connor has been throwing fits too but he learned quickly that I ignore him when he does that and he uses sign now. I heart sign language!!

Josh probably gets his tantrum throwing abilities from his mommy!!! I think it's genetic. :o) It's a stage that will unfortunately last for about the next 18 years. Good luck!!! That's great that you finally got to meet the rest of your brother's in law. I sounds like the adults were almost out-numbered by the kids... scary. They could overtake you ya know! Glad to hear the pregnancy is going well. Let us know if it's still a girl.

Are you saying that I throw tantrums? I don't know where you would get an idea like that. I wish that Josh would learn that tantrums don't work. I can ignore him until the cows come home, and he just keeps doing it. He can be a very determined little guy.

I didn't say that you throw tantrums... exactly. You probably threw them when you were that age and now your mom is laughing because you now have a child that is acting exactly like you did. It's how nature takes its course! :o)
