So sorry it has been so long since I have posted here. For some reason this blog hasn't been updating on my blog. I didn't realize that there were more posts. So that is why I haven't been commenting.
Nicci, sorry you didn't make the
academy, but it is nice that you can just focus on your last class. You are probably all done with it now. I hope you did well. Krista, I am sorry for the drama you had to deal with over Thanksgiving. I hope that things weren't as bad as you thought they would be. I don't think that I would be able to handle it very well. You are braver than I am.
So to catch you up on my life. Things have been going well. I have 9 days until my due date. But we have decided with my doctor that we will induce on the 18
th so that I will be home before Christmas. Which will be very nice. Last week at my Doctor's appointment, I was already 2 cm
dilated and 75% effaced. So it should be a problem to be
included. I just got back from my appointment. I was at almost 3 cm and he said pretty much all
thinned and the bag was bulging. So we will see. I did have him strip my
membranes. He thinks that I could go into labor any time. But that is what they said with Josh and it was two days later. I have been having a fair number of contractions for a while, but nothing hard or
consistent.
I am ready for this baby to be here. Not that this pregnancy has lasted very long. It has gone by so fast, but I am ready to have my body at least kind of back to myself. I will still be nursing, so I won't have total control, but I will be a lot closer. It will also be nice to not be so
exhausted all the time. I do understand that for a little while I will still be tired because I won't be sleeping very much. But I can handle that tired. I am tired of my body just not having the energy to do what I want it to do. I am also just really excited to be able to see what she looks like and to be able to hold here. It will be so nice.
I am all ready for her. I have all the things I need for the next few months, well, we do still need to by a double stroller. We decided to wait a little longer because the chances of me needing it in January are pretty slim. I have even washed most of the little things that I will need for her when she comes home from the hospital. I haven't done all the washing I need to yet, just in case. We are really pretty sure that she is a girl, but they can never be sure about girls. So I want to have things able to be returned if needed.
Well, I know I have a lot more to catch you up on, but life is getting in the way, so I will try later.
